My name is Troy Buchholz.  My family and I live in Champlin, which is part of Minnesota District 47A.  I have chosen to run for the office of State Representative because I feel that government pork is completely out of control and I want to do something about it.

The Minneapolis Suburbs have been a great place to live for the past 20 years, but I have seen changes that trouble me.  We have out-of-control taxes and a legislature which is the source of this problem.  Why would anyone in their right mind impose tax increases when we have a budget surplus?  This insanity has to stop.  A surplus by definition means that the state has already taken too much from your pocket.
